The quasi-metal band Evanescence went through a tumultuous period after bursting on the scene with its 2003 debut LP, Fallen. The album sold extremely well, but some members of the Little Rock, Arkansas-based group couldn't take the burdens of success and opted to sever their ties with the band and quit. Despite constant line up changes, Evanescence has an army of dedicated fans (mainly in the southern United States) who have faithfully stood by their band.
