GOPiNK was founded in 2009 by Rye Country Day Students, Erica Baevsky and Allie Farber, and is affiliated with the breast cancer program at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center. GOPiNKs mission is to enhance the lives of women at high risk for the development of breast cancer and women with breast cancer through research, education, and support programs. GOPiNK also supports breast cancer survivors with much needed support. The Rye Country Day GOPiNK chapter, seeks to educate teenagers about breast cancer as well as the importance that contributions make in making the program possible. 100% of the money that GOPiNK raises goes directly towards NYPs research, education, and support programs.
This year, the Westchester Mall has graciously offered to host GOPiNK's eighth annual fashion show. A huge thank you to Paula Kelliher, the Marketing Director at the Westchester Mall, for making this possible. Nordstroms has generously dressed our models, Rye Country Day upper school students, in fantastic formalwear. While sephora has generously contributed products and services for our audience to enjoy.
We hope you will join us in supporting this wonderful cause.
