The DC Jazz Festival is a city-wide, multi-venue event that has taken place annually since 2005. With each iteration, the festival exposes audiences to a variety of jazz artists ranging from the critically acclaimed to the newly emerging. In addition to the festival proper, the DCJF provides free educational programs and workshops year-round for aspiring students and artists. The festival's primary mission aims to unify DC's diverse communities through the celebration of jazz. Some of the Jazz Fest venues normally include The Anthem, Pearl Street Warehouse and the Family Theater Kennedy Center.
Please note that for 2020 the festivities have moved online.
