Join us on Thursday, October 10, in the Librarys Murray Room for Funding for the Humanities & Sciences, a workshop featuring Dr. Valerie Popp, Senior Program Officer in the Office of Fellowship & Public Programs at ACLS. In addition to providing an overview of the types of grants and projects that ACLS supports, she will also discuss best practices and common mistakes in ACLS grant fellowship proposals.
During the lunch informal conversation period, PIs may bring a specific project idea to discuss how the project could potentially fit into ACLSs portfolio of fellowship and grant opportunities. N.B. ACLS program officers do not provide feedback on a proposed projects competitiveness, nor do they read or otherwise evaluate proposals to judge suitability in advance.
This event is free, but registration is required by Oct 7, 2019.
Dr. Popp is also offering a special session for graduate students from 12:45pm 1:45pm. Graduate students, in addition to registering for the workshop, please also sign up for the graduate student session via this link.
