ZZ Ward is a singer/songwriter from Roseburg, Oregon, where she first started her foray into the music world before moving to Los Angeles to pursue a career as a professional musician. After gigging around the Southern California region for a while, she was eventually noticed by music impresario E. Kid Bogart, who signed Ward to his Boardwalk Entertainment Group. Ward released her debut album, Til the Casket Drops, in 2012 and the folk-centric LP helped establish the talented singer as one of the more promising acts of her generation.
