Ahmad Jamal is an American legend of the jazz piano. Born in 1930, he has been on the scene as long as anyone, and continues to push his boundaries as a musician. He frequently plays with Idris Muhammed, a New Orleans style drummer, and bassist James Cammack. Even legendary musician Miles Davis sites Jamal as an influence, and his songs can be heard not only in concert halls across America and Europe, but in major motion pictures such as Clint Eastwood's "The Bridges of Madison County."
