Art of the Americas: Selections from the OAS Permanent Collection is the most comprehensive review to date of the crown jewels of the Organization of American States (OAS) Art Museum of de the Americas (AMA) permanent art collection. For the first time, 100 Latino, Latin American, and Caribbean artworks are being presented as a whole package of images, writings on the works, artist biographies, and scholarly essays tying together the collection with fresh perspectives. The book will be accompanied by a digital version, making it available online. Readers and website visitors alike will soon access, understand, enjoy, and interact with AMAs collection as never before. AMAs magnificent collection, one of the first ever of its type assembled in the United States, dates to 1949, and continues to take shape, growing gracefully in the present day.
