David Foster is an arranger, composer, singer/songwriter and Grammy Award-winning record producer. Born and raised in British Columbia, he has worked with an impressive array of prolific artists including Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Madona, Prince and Barbra Streisand. Since his work in the late 1970s and early 1980s as a writer and arranger for Earth, Wind & Fire, he has steadily been arming artist with the material and production work needed to produce pop hit after hit. Some of the most iconic songs Foster produced include Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You" and Natalie and Nat King Cole's "Unforgettable." He has also earned critical acclaim for his own original work, such as "Love Theme for St. Elmo's Fire."
