Named after a single by Pavement, an American indie rock band, Gold Sounds has a 1970s vibe to it. This dive bar has carved a niche for itself in the neighborhood with its cheap drinks, live music and laid back ambiance. Its well-insulated walls ensure that the music doesn't seep out. The music is primarily punk, indie and, rock and roll. Some of their past line-ups include the likes of Brook Pridemore, Kung Fu Crimewave, Endless Mike & The Beagle Club, Teenage Halloween and True Dreams.
