East River Waterfront, Pier 35, New York, NY, United States, 10002
The imposing Clipper City Tall Ship was primarily built as a freight vessel in the year 1854 and was used during the Civil War. It gets its name from the city where it was built, a metropolis which is famous as the country's nerve for ship building. Clipper City now provides leisure seekers with some remarkable sails across NYC's pristine waters, stirring through some of the most epochal landmarks like the Statue of Liberty. Counted as one of the last surviving tall ships and also one of the biggest of the world, Clipper City Tall Ship is also a stunning accent to Manhattan's vibrant skyline, offering a riveting glimpse into the country's eventful past featuring its struggles to become the leading nation of industry and commerce.
