Perched at the head of the spectacular Icefjord, Ilulissat is a coastal town that owes much of its fame to the natural ice sculptures that glide by its shore. The local culture too is a source of much intrigue, with a thriving culinary scene to boot. With an approximate population of 4,866, Ilulissat is Greenland's third largest town.
