The people running the show at Spritmuseum take their alcohol very seriously. A one of its kind museum, the Spritmuseum has displays and interactive exhibitions on the history of wines and spirits of Sweden. You get the opportunity to smell, taste and understand the difference between the various kinds of spirits in Sweden along with discussions on the cultural importance of alcohol and issues surrounding it. The museum is also fun and fascinating in various ways, for e.g. the hangover room in the museum where you can hear a woman’s voice talking to herself after getting drunk or exhibitions showcasing the connection between music and alcohol. The museum is as educative as it is entertaining and although it may or may not be a part of your guide book, it is a must visit if you are looking for a new adventure or for an unusual experience.
