The Mission Bay Branch of the San Francisco Public Library houses an extensive collection of books, magazines and multimedia resources that cover a range of topics related to local history and culture. Smaller collections featuring the San Francisco Giants and foreign language publications can be found here as well, alongside a virtual collection of archival documents and photographs. Workshops, storytime, dramatic readings and other events are often organized here as well, creating a community- and family-friendly atmosphere. The library shares the building with various other family, health and community organizations. Apart from the usual accessibility features, the Mission Bay Library also offers large print books and readers for the visually challenged.
