700 4th Street, San Francisco, CA, United States, 94158
The existing San Francisco Caltrain Station first opened its doors in 1975 and has since come to be a major transportation hub, with convenient connections to the rest the city and Bay Area towns via the MUNI and BART systems. The station lies within walking distance of AT&T Park and tends to be especially crowded on game days. Ticket vending machines and clipper card machines can be found within the station lobby, and tickets must be purchased before boarding the train. Snacks and refreshments are also available, as are other convenient facilities like bicycle racks and lockers. Frequent train arrivals and departures make this the quickest and most convenient way to get to cities as far as Gilroy.
