VFW Post 76

VFW Post 76 may be Texas earliest VFW, but it is certainly not obsolete in terms of ambiance and choice of chilled libations. Located on 10th Street in the downtown region of San Antonio, this dive venue occupies a colonial home built in the year 1904. It has retained many of its old-world characteristics, and is also notorious as a haunted spot since the bygone era. However, this does not deter beer lovers to guzzle down those reasonably priced concoctions, even as they unwind by the serene riverside. Live gigs on weekends makes it popular with social butterflies.
