This collegiate church adheres to the Lutheran faith and was built in the 13th Century. The Stiftskirche Bassum is constructed with bricks and has a wonderful facade. The church was renovated by Conrad Wilhelm Hase in the 1860s. The beautiful choir of the church has an ornately decorated apse, easily making for the most striking feature of the interiors.
