Yosemite Falls, Yosemite Valley, Yosemite National Park, CA, United States, 95389
One of the tallest in the world, Yosemite Waterfall plunges from a height of about 2,425 feet (739 meters). The magnificent cascade is an amalgam of three smaller ones, the Upper Yosemite, which graces most landscape depictions of the falls, the Middle Cascades, which is made up of a series of plunges and the Lower Yosemite, which most visitors experience at close quarters. Spring is when the waterfall is in its elements; a thundering show of force that sends Yosemite Creek's waters crashing into the rocks below. The waterfall, fittingly, is one of the park's most visited attractions and is an awe-inspiring spectacle not to be missed.
