One of the many historical buildings in the popular town of Bratislava, the Johann Palffy Palace dates back to the 18th Century and originally served as a residential building for the Palffy family. It incorporates a late Classicism style of architecture and has over the years been reconstructed and modified quite some times. Today, it has been transformed into an art gallery of the state and is home to three permanent exhibitions of the Bratislava City Gallery.
