Schaubude puppet theatre, situated in a former cinema of the Prenzlauer Berg district, shows in-house productions as well as providing a stage for guest performers of national and international renown. As well as traditional puppet shows, the theatre presents pantomime, dance, circus and contemporary theatrics such as 'virtual theatre', suitable for all age groups. The house is also partner and production site of many of Berlin's groups, not least the puppet department of the Hochschule Ernst Busch.
