Kurhaus of Scheveningen

Kurhaus of Scheveningen, also known as the Grand Hotel Amrâth Kurhaus The Hague, is a resort which was built in the late 19th century. The magnificient structure was designed by Friedrich Elbert and Johan Friedrich Henkenhaf but underwent several renovations after it was damaged by fire. With domed roofs, arched doorways and beautifully painted ceilings, the hotel is a thing of beauty and was the place where several kings and celebrities came to stay.
