St. Katharinenkirche

St. Katharinenkirche or the St. Catherine church is the protestant parish of the town and is one of the biggest churches of the town. The place where this mighty church stands today used to be occupied by a stone building which was demolished to build St. Catherine church in the 14th Century. The unique aspect about the architecture of the chuch is the fact that it is completely made of bricks and its magnificent tower dominates the skyline of the town.
