A UNESCO approved World Heritage Site, the amphitheater located at Trier offers a great insight into the Roman era. Gladiators fought fiercely and brutally at this amphitheater to prove their might and provided entertainment to the thousands of people that came to watch them. Constructed in the 2nd Century CE, this venue is said to have amazing acoustics and is today used for open-air events.
