Archäologisches Museum Colombischlössle is a beautiful museum that houses several pieces of arts and exhibits that can be traced back to the medieval Freiburg and south Baden. This was constructed as a villa between 1859 and 1861. Exhibits on display includes specimen of metal works dating from the Bronze Age, female figurines from the Stone Age, treasures from tombs of royal Celtic times, including the earliest glass bowl that was discovered in the Alps. The museum also includes exhibits of skilled trade, military and routine life.
