Funded by ex-alumni, Herbert A Allen, this state-of-the-art facility within the Williams College was named in honor of the 1962 batch that he graduated from. Opened in 2005, ’62 Center for Theatre and Dance is one of the best performing arts venue in town. The airy structure that features a mix of glass, wood and steel has a series of spaces for theater, performances and studios. MainStage, Adams Memorial Theatre and CenterStage are the hubs for almost of the acts. The center is also the base of the annual Williamstown Theatre Festival.
