St Columba's Church is a modern place of worship constructed in the year 1964. The statue of St Columba found inside the church building is sculpted by Frank Haugh. Dublin's Ray Carroll has designed the font and the altar of St Columba's Church. The font and altar are made of marble and limestone. The earlier Baptistry has stained glass windows, designed by Eberhard Schulze and Hans Unger of London. They employed a path-breaking system and used epoxy resins for fusing the stained glass pieces on backing of plain glass. This eliminated the need to use lead.
