Farnham Castle was originally built in 1138, however this building was torn down by Henry II. The Castle was then rebuilt in the late 12th Century, and a number of additions were made to it over the years, to suit the needs of its various occupants. As a result the structure now reflects the architectural styles of a number of different time periods, making it an important historical site. Today this magnificent building is available on hire for residential or day corporate events, weddings, inter-cultural training and private events. There are nine different rooms available with a capacity that varies from eight to 140 guests. In addition, events can also be held in the castle grounds and garden with a maximum capacity of 150 guests. Farnham Castle is a unique venue to host any event, with spectacular views of the surrounding grounds and easy access by rail and road.
