Spread across 91 acres (36.83 hectares), Heritage Park was established in 1999. It is a great place to get a glimpse of rural America. It features historic structures such as a 1930 school house, a 1920s gas station, a century old school, an old black smith shop, log houses, farmstead, barns, museums, a doll house and an entertainment pavilion. The wide collection of antique agricultural machines and steam engines displayed adds to its rustic environment. Check out the American Indian relics, minerals, vintage furniture, farm tools, household items, looms and more. Find out how a sawmill works, corn is shelled and shredded, wool is spun, etc at the various demonstrations held in the buildings of the park.
