Established in 1832, the iconic Kingston General Hospital is located on King Street. Having completed more than 175 years, the KGH, as it is popularly called, was deemed a National Historic Site of Canada in 1995. The first and the oldest public hospital in Canada, the Kingston General Hospital is associated with Queen's University and provides a volley of services to the people of Kingston.
