Founded at the beginning of the 14th Century by Pope Boniface VIII, L'Università degli Studi di Roma, also known as "Sapienza," is a public research university located in Rome, Italy. It is among not only the oldest in the world but also the largest on the continent. This prestigious university comprises 11 faculties, 50 libraries, more than 60 departments and 21 museums. Interesting architecture, repositories and a botanical garden are the key features of its main campus. Approximately 180 collaboration grant awardees enrolled in the final year of all Sapienza study courses manage the reception and orientation information center of the university.
