The Großer Saal is the main function hall at Heinrich-Lades-Halle. It is a magnificent hall with ultra-modern decor and state-of-the-art lighting. The ceiling is made of three-dimensional, pyramidal blocks of Peruvian Walnut wood, and dotted with tiny ceiling lamps. Besides its aesthetic appeal, the ceiling design also leads to excellent acoustics. The walls too have wood-paneling in elongated triangular shapes. The room can seat more than 1200 guests and is a favorite venue for upscale conferences, banquets, dance shows, concerts and cocktail parties. The hall is also attached to orchestra and dressing rooms.
