St. Andreas Kirche is an 18th-century religious building owned by the Evangelical Church of St. Vitus and St. Andrew. Rudolf August, Duke of Brunswick-Lüneburg, built it as a palace church in 1702. It displays fascinating Baroque architecture and an unusual loft that spans two floors. Another architectural wonder is the set of eight pillars that connect the pulpit to the altar. This church also houses a historic organ and is famous throughout the region for its concerts. It conducts Protestant services every weekend.
