Wodan Halle is the brainchild of Ray Austin and Gerhard Spiecker. The idea of a concert venue was conceived after two successful cultural weeks in 1998 and 1999 in the premises of the Ganter Haus Biergarten. Set in a renovated workshop space on the grounds of the beer garden, it opened with a show by Backstreet Boys. Since then it has hosted several international and national artists of repute.
