Dedicated to Otto of Bamberg, St. Otto Kirche was built in 1914 by architect, Otto Orlando Kurz. This impressive building has elements of Romanesque, Gothic and Art Nouveau in its architectural style. The facade with its huge limestone reliefs of the Virgin Mary, St Christopher and an angel is impressive. Its interior is done up by dramatic artworks that ranges from the Creation to the Resurrection. Equally noteworthy are its exquisite stained glass windows. No wonder it is one of the most important landmarks of the city.
