Nestled right in the center of Mainau, Das Schloss Mainau was constructed between 1739 and 1746. Identifiable by its baroque façade, the castle is noted for its expansive park and the Weiße Saal i.e. the audience hall which is characterized by white walls adorned with gilded works and paintings.
