Museum Giersch showcases local art & culture through the medium of exhibitions which are held annually displaying works- both classic and contemporary. The museum is housed in a neoclassical riverside villa built in the early 20th Century and now one of the only few surviving in Sachsenhausen. The property was converted into an art & exhibition gallery by the Giersch Foundation and was opened to public in 2000. Since all the exhibitions are inspired by the traditions and history of the Rhine-Main area, this is a good place to explore and get an insight into the local culture.
