Tempio di Vespasiano

Among the many symbols of ancient Rome's prosperity and veneration for deities, the Temple of Vespasian and Titus is a significant one. Located on the western edge of the Roman Forum, it can be easily spotted at the base of Capitoline Hill, between the temples of Saturn and Concordia. The temple was built in honor of the deified Flavian Emperor Vespasian and his son Titus. All that remains of the monument today are the three Corinthian columns, fragments of the podium and cella (the inner chamber).
