The Jardines del Palacio de Pedralbes beautifully complements the opulence of the majestic palace. Designed by Antoni Gaudí, the establishment is home to the Museu de les Arts Decoratives and Museu de Ceràmica. The world-class architect leaves his impression on the surrounding landscape, with the construction of the Hercules fountain, an ode to one of Greek mythology's greatest, as well as building of the walkway and planting of Mediterranean botany. The gardens have an evident influence of classical English and French style with water features, manicured plantations and flower beds. The verdant landscape is punctuated by ponds, elegant ornaments and exquisite sculptural work of nude women in bronze and stone.
