Mariner's Point

This sandy peninsula and park next to Bonita Cover features picnic spots for the family and plenty of bird-watching opportunities. Visitors must stay 500 feet from the tip of Mariner's Point as it is where Least Terns nest, and is protected. If you love fishing, you can purchase a permit to do so off the east coast of the park. It's a great spot to spend a lazy summer evening or bring along your binoculars for a chance to spot the nesting birds.
