Rapid City

Built into the eastern slope of the magnificent Black Hills mountain range, Rapid City holds the status of being the second largest city in South Dakota, after Sioux Falls. While the city itself may not ring familiar, the neighboring monumental attraction of Mount Rushmore is what makes tourists flock to this charming town. A tour to Rapid City is best accomplished by exploring the myriad natural landscapes it has to offer, some of which include the awe-inspiring Wind Cave National Park, Custer State Park and the Badlands National Park. The majestic Black Hills offer plenty of opportunity for outdoor recreations, such as equestrian adventures, hiking and biking.
