Clean Break

Clean Break is a theater studio comprising of women prisoners, begun by women prisoners but for the general public. This company was founded in 1979 by a couple of female convicts who thought that theater would be a good platform to bring to the people, narratives from behind bars. This studio has hosted a variety of plays revolving around playwrights that remain honest to its ideology. Clean Break offers these women a variety of courses which will enable them to develop creative skills, that will help them attain employment in society.
