Victoria Hall is an important Methodist place of worship and a Grade II listed building located in Sheffield city center. Built in September 26, 1906 on the site of the Norfolk Street Wesleyan Chapel, the original design of the hall was re-worked by architect William John Hale to reflect Gothic and Arts and Crafts styles. During the Great Depression, the hall served free breakfast to the needy and distributed free food parcels to the unemployed. Today along with being a crucial place of worship, the hall is used to by various voluntary services to distribute meals to the homeless. It is also known to host classical music concerts. The hall also has a general function room open for public hire.
