The Dunedin Town Hall is one of the perfect examples of reusing old structures and also one of the main tourist attractions in the city center. The building has been built in two phases, one in the year 1878 and 1928 in the Neo-Renaissance and Neo-Baroque style of architectures. The interiors have been majorly restored so that visitors have the chance to experience historic architecture, as well as modern facilities, have been installed. A large hall is occupied in the building which is mainly used for live performances, exhibitions, cultural events, and social gatherings.
