The Shawl-Anderson Dance Center was established in the year 1958 with an aim to promote skillful dancing among the community. They offer dance classes in contemporary, jazz, yoga, hip-hop and ballet to people of all ages who are trained by dance professionals. The school also hosts dance events performed by artists in residence or independent dancers. Rental spaces are available for private events.
