Conrad Prebys Music Center

In the University of California at San Diego’s emerging “arts district,” the Conrad Prebys Music Center the new home of the internationally recognized UC San Diego Department of Music. The 47,000 square foot facility includes an intimate, 400-seat concert hall. The distinctive design integrates the architecture and acoustical geometries with asymmetrical triangular walls and ceilings. Created in collaboration with world renowned acoustician Dr. Cyril M. Harris, the concert hall brings the science of sound to an extraordinary visual experience.
