Constructed in the year 1994 overseeing is the Cedar River is the Young Arena. This is mainly an indoor sports rink that is used for hosting ice-hockey events and ice-skating activities. On other occasions, the venue is also utilized as an arena for wrestling and basketball tournaments. It has been the home arena for the Waterloo Black Hawks team.
