The Mitsubishi Electric Halle opened as Philips Halle in 1971. Located in the Oberbilk district it has hosted many important events throughout the years. It has also hosted sporting events such as the Euroleague games of 2006-07. With a seating capacity of 7,500 persons and technologically advanced facilities, it is known to host many upscale concerts. International artists such as Tina Turner, Yanni and Lionel Richie have performed here and events often include illustrious musicals and theatrical performances. Apart from this, the unique indoor venue features numerous rooms and parlors that are rented out for elegant private functions and business events.
