Located in downtown Durango, the Animas City Theatre was launched by Michele and Chris Redding. This space occupies what was formerly the Abbey Theatre and is one of the top venues in Southwest Colorado. It features a state-of-the-art sound and light system, and houses a digital movie screen showcasing the latest blockbusters. The ACT also plays host to an array of concerts and live entertainment by regional and international artists.
