Built in 1901, Moriska Paviljongen is a historic structure in Folkets Park. Its Moorish architecture was one of its kind in the nation when it was erected and it still is a sight to behold. But besides its architecture, it is also one of the most popular cultural spots in the city. Comprising of a main hall, hall of mirrors, foyer, outdoor garden and a bistro, their Middle Eastern inspired spaces are used for a variety of events. The historic pavilion also hosts concerts, theater, children's acts and more. It is most for its entertaining programs showcasing the culture of North Africa, the Balkans and the Middle East. These are mainly musical events by well-known artistes from these regions.
