Museo Carmen Thyssen Málaga is comprised of works from the collection of the world-famous Museo Carmen Thyssen-Bornemisza in Madrid, and housed in the Palacio de Villalón. The museum was opened in early 2011, and focuses mostly on 19th century Spanish art, with special attention to Andalusian art. The permanent collection and the temporary exhibitions show off works by artists like Fortuny, Zurburan, Zuloaga and Sorolla.
