The Burroughs Park is a gorgeous and expansive park Northeast of the city. The park features densely forested areas with winding trails that are great for hiking, kids playgrounds, soccer and baseball fields, a dog park, a beautiful lake that's perfect for fishing, and sprawling lush lawns with picnic tables scattered all about. There is a pavilion and a performance space that frequently hosts concerts and other local events. The park is clean and well maintained and is a gem in the midst of the city making a visit here a must.
